After going to Athello, I am told I do not have magic, so I went back to the Wizard in Moravia, and found out what I needed, got the parchment, returned to the Wizard, and he gave me magic. Now whenever I leave his house or use a beacon I have set, the game says "Cheater!", and turns itself off, and changes my resolution.Any suggestions?

I resolved this situation as well, simply by starting a new game, and getting the Fireball spell at the proper time. But I thought it was kinda neat to be called a "cheater"! Like, how did it know, man? ;-p I realize it sensed that I had items before I got the Fireball spell. At least, I am presuming there is such a feature built into the game engine? But it was still kind of eerie. :) |

The cheat-checking is made by the author of the DMod. It isn't in the Dink engeene. Mike Snyder also did this in Quest for Arithia 2 :) |
