In the cave, I have killed the water monster, but I cannot pick up the axe. I can't get past any rocks, and can't take the water path in the cave. I can't find anything else I am supposed to do. I have pushed rocks, burned down trees, taken every possible path, killed everything in sight, yet I can get no further. Help, someone?

Ok, I solved it! The problem is that to get the axe, you have to be in an itsy-bitsy-teensy-weensy certain spot in order for the space bar to recognize you've even SEEN the axe! It must be a 2 x 2 pixel area - sheesh! :( Took me another 5 minutes of inching back and forth all over the dang thing before I could pick it up. But once I did, I was able to complete the dmod.
