Author Topic:   Help with Arithia 2-Potter's Cave/Fountain

How do I get past the boulder to reach the fountain and Potter's house? The walkthrough doesn't say, and some of the info in the walkthrough is misleading. Also, I have tried using the pepper on the knight, but I still can't get across the bridge, but that may be because it's not time yet? Help! :(

You have to come into the cave from the other entrance, and make it through the maze.

Since I've reached the boulder, that means I HAVE come in through the other entrance and through the maze! :)
I've pushed it, talked to it, and hit it with every weapon/magic I have. Either I am missing a weapon/magic, or some sort of "key". But I am clueless. :(

Does the walkthrough not say what to do with the boulder? It's been so longer, I've forgotten. It seems to me that there was some kind of statue you have to push, and it only pushes from one side (not the other). But I forgot.

Yeah, there's nothing in the walkthrough on the boulder at all. :( I will check for a statue or something similar, and see what happens! Thanks!

Okay, finished it! The walkthrough is a bit vague on how to find the guy in the house that won't let you stay. It sounds like it is in the grove where the inn is. It should be revised to clarify that the house is allllllllll the way to the southwest. And that once you talk to him, only THEN should you attempt Potter's Cave.
Very good so far, now on to Part 3! :)

I enjoyed all of it very much!
I am going through the dmods, as you can tell by my posts, and so far they have all been pretty good, but some are buggy. :(
It will take me a while to get thru all of the games, but I am having a blast! I can't handle games like Quake or Diable, I am just not skillful enough. This whole game has just the right amount of skill for me. :)
Although I must admit that I use one of the cheat programs to help kill enemies after a while. Killing them over and over can get a bit boring! ;-p
My thanks and appreciation goes out to Seth and all the dmod authors for their efforts!
