 WaterQuest 1: The Journey to LifeLake Screenshots I wrote this game called "WaterQuest" over 10 years ago, and I finally fixed a few minor bugs and decided to release it. You can download it here: www.prowler-pro.com/n-e-ware/gamezips You need QBASIC.EXE to run it (but the readme.txt explains how to get it for free off Microsoft's FTP site). This is a REALLY outdated game, using 16-color EGA graphics. Your computer will be WAY too fast to play it, but there is a "slowdown.com" utility included, and the "-" minus key while playing will slow it down too. Even though it's outdated, it's still pretty cool. Somebody out there might want to give it a shot. I took captures of ALL the rooms with the idea of making an online "strategy guide" with maps and a walkthrough. I don't know if I will - depends on whether or not anybody plays it and wants to see the complete solution. :) |
