works fine but looks real dumb. For the up stairs. I just need help getting them to look right, if I make it look like it is in front of it, then it is way down low, not where I want it. U guys know what to do? thanks for reading my many messages.

Change the type of the wall it goes under to background (I think its type 0 in Dinkedit, otherwise its type 1). That makes the wall appear under all other sprites.

thanx again. I figured this one out two. But I did it different and it took a lot of trial and error, so I think I will use your way from now on. What I did is changed the walk behind thing when you hit e e. but then it kept changing the room, and I accidentally did a match screen and that room worked. I did this for like 3 rooms and it took forever. So thanx a lot. It'll definitely speed things up.
