I'd like to lauch a DMOD from a batch file which is in the DMOD dir.So I'd like to know if it's possible to know the current directory of a batch file, so as to write quote: ../dink.exe -game %CUR_DIR%
or something.Thanks.

You could tell people they MUST install your D-Mod into a directory you've already named. For instance, tell them to make a "MYMOD1" directory or something, then just use that. |

In fact, I want to lauch Dink from a batch file in my DMOD directory, so I need to have the current directory's name (the DMOD name) and to put it in a batch line, such as the one I wrote above. And I'd like not to force the guy who install the DMOD to have a unique DMOD dir name, such as in LoT install program (the DMOD dir must be LOT). So I must have the current DMOD name in a system variable or something, and not put it in 'hard' in the batch file. Err... keep it? ;) |

You could use run.exe (downloadable at The Dink Network's Author Files section) that only needs to be placed in the D-Mods directory to run that D-Mod. |

Thanks for the replies. In fact, I knew about Run (by someone). But the interest of a batch file is that you can launch a video or something else before to lauch Dink :) And Run can't... And I have VB5 and not Delphi so I can't create such a front end without a ton of DLL...But we can use CFE2 with a dedicated skin (I think). I just wanted to know if there was a batch solution :) Bye.
