How do I make a bridge work? I looked at the original game, then tried to remove the hardness at the edge of the screen, but none of it has worked. Any help is appreciated.. Thanks |

When you are in tile edit mode (where the square box is on the screen, not the blue sprite arrow) press the H key to enter hardness edit mode. In hardness edit mode, you can use the [ and ] keys to run through the available tile hardnesses. Pick one that closely matches what you need, and use S to stamp it down. Be careful not to edit any of the hardness blocks you select this way, because they belong to the tiles on the various tile pages and you could accidentally mess one up without meaning to. (Seth used this method for the bridges) |

I remember using it a lot too. Did I remember to put that in the FAQ? |

I haven't seen it in the FAQ Wyndo... Great job on it though =) |

Wyndo, I've already said it, but in addition to the 'H' hardness (you really need to add it, it's written nowhere, and I found it typing every keys...), you can also add the fact that the dink palette is TILE-01.bmp and not Splash.bmp :) |

OK I'll email myself a reminder about that. |

Hmm, the "H" command with [ and ] to pick is already in the FAQ it seems... Question #14. http://www.prowler-pro.com/dmods/dmod-faq.html#Q014 Maybe it wasn't noticed because the question was "removing" hardness to allow for bridges, and I explained this in a section about "adding" hardness to block around houses... but there it is, already there. :) |

Thanks everyone! After some experimenting, I got it down =) |
