hi, new here, I got the magic to turn me into slime in Prophecy, but I can't access it... how am I supposed to access it? the directions said to use the M button, but it doesn't seem to be working, no matter what I try!

Do you have the rune equipt?

Yes, I have my rune equipped. I can, right now, morph into the bonca (I think that's what it's called, the grey tadpole with legs ) but nothing happens when I press M. If I press P, though, I make the noises of the pillbug monsters (I have no clue what they're called)

Try checking the readme, Nexis (the author), may have changed the key but forgot to update the in-game hint.
The pillbug sound when you press P is a test :).

Oh, and if you are using a walk through, the slime magic doesn't come with the rune :). You need to get it from the remains of the giant slime.

No walkthrough for me, nothing in the readme and I am getting really sick of this. I think I'll download a different version or something... does anyone know a good download site for Prophecy?

You need to go to the first cave, and then "pick up" the slime corpse. Then press 'M', use left and right to change skin, up (or down) to choose.
