Alright, number 1. how do you create a c file?
number 2. where do you put the c files you want to attach to a sprite? is it source, story, or what?

A c file is just a text file renamed to .c. So you just have to create one and rename it. You have to put them in the story dir too, yeah.
All this stuff is in the text files in your develop dir though, you should read them

You may read and apply the tut1.txt file in your develop directory (out of the Dink one).
It shows (very basically) how to make a DMOD: use sprite, create a .C file and attach it to a sprite, etc.
If you don't know any programming, read also someone's tutorial ( http://someone2.hypermart.net/dink/dinkc/dinkc.html ).
Yeah, I'm a fan of tutorials :)
