OK, OK I DIDN'T THINK THAT A WORKS SO FAST!
THANKS YOU!
BUT, I HAVE ANOTHER LITTLE PROBLEM...
NOW I KNOW WHAT IS D FILES AND C FILES.
I'M SURE THAT I WILL HAVE PROBLEMS WHIT THE ORIGINAL CODE.
IF I WANT TO EDIT WHIT C FILES (BECAUSE IS THE ONLY WAY TO EDIT)HOW CAN I MAKE TO WORK MY C FILES IN THE STORY DIRECTORY?
SORRY MY ENGLISH IS VERY BAD!
I HAVE FOLLOWED THE TUTORIAL AND IF I PUT IN THE DIRECTORY THE FILES THAT I WANT, IN THE GAME DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING. THE GAME WORK ONLY BECAUSE I HAVE PUT IN THE STORY DIRECTORY MAIN.D (AND NOT C) START.D ETC..
I THINK IT COULD RUN IF I KNOWN HOW CAN I MAKE MAIN.C AND START.C

IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, ANSWER.

BUT WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT.
OUps, turn off CAPS.
(If you don't know what caps mean in forum,
I suggest you to read
"Why is everyone so hostile to me? -- JP Schaper " in the official dink message board.)

.c or .d are executed the same way by dink.exe. I've replaced all .d by all .c from the source zip file in the dink story directory, and all works.

You can use either .d or .c files; dink.exe execute both forms.

So if you replace your main.d by main.c, it will also work.

.d is just a crypted form of .c files so that author can keep their work secret...

But you already know it.

Don't work with .d files unless you've FINISHED your DMOD.

P.S.: I've used tut1.txt and all works (again).

Good Work!

And .d files are used primarily.

eg, if you had:

main.c
main.d

Dink would execute main.d.

To make a d-mod you need to make your own directory off of your Dink directory. Unzip skeleton_b.zip into the directory. This gives you a good base to start on. It will provide you with a simple title page and buttons. Just edit your D-mod from there. In the graphics directory of your D-mod are graphics that you can edit to fit your D-mod.

Edit start-1.c to change where Dink starts his adventure. He starts, by default, on section 400.

I hope this helps.
