when i start to play my d-mod i cant die
how the hell can i make it so it is possible for me to die?

Make sure that these lines are in start-1.c (not commented out).
&update_status = 1;
draw_status();
If you have an intro cutscene, make sure these lines appear after the cutscene is finished.
Also check for set_mode(2); in start-1.c
