Hi! I'm a great Dink fan and I've had the game for quite a while now, however I've only just started to venture into the D-Mod part of Dink. I really wanna make one, but I have absolutely no programming experience, if anyone has some sort of really easy to follow guide to D-Mods that would be brilliant!! Also, maybe a short walkthru on a simple D-mod to get me going would be appreciated!!! Thanx if you reply to this and help me out!!!!

Acctually, if u r like me, those things helped very little to figuer out how to do stuff beyong scenery. To make people talk or anything, you must enter you DMOD's directory, make a "story" directory, a "sound" directory, a "graphics" directory, and a "tiles" directory, then you must go into the story directory and create a notepad, or whatever you wanna use, and create the script for what you want. I will quickly tell you the talk scipt. viod talk(void)You know what? never mind, i forgot. :( Well, the "tut1" text file is very helpfull, it should get you started. |

And chck out all the things people have typed on this page. Very often someone has explained to a newbie how to start. Try downloading the skeleton dmo for starters. Canīt remember where it is though. |
