Help!!!

I'm hoping someone can give me information to help me with the main game, since I don't get any answers from anyone else.

I had the game working from the download site, about 4 months ago. It worked fine, all the way through, with the exception that in the Dark World section, if I touched
a wall in some areas, I got stuck in the wall. It would occasionally take me on tours through some interesting places that bordered on the main game.

About three weeks ago, computer problem required HD reformating, and when I downloaded Dink and reinstalled it didn't work when I got to the bowmaker's
house. When I tried to buy a bow, the game froze, and I had to turn the computer off just to get out.

This is the third time I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game (all three times from new downloads), and it's still doing it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I'll appreciate any help you can give me.

Many Thanks!

The game froze up on me when I was battling the last nastie. I got around this by starting the original game as a dmod. so from a dos prompt you type: dink -game dink Naturally from the directory in which dink.exe is located. I don't know why it works, but it worked for me. Good luck!
