Am I doing something wrong in this Dmod ? I can't get past the Broca's in the beginning. They are way too hard... Is it just that I'm a bad fighter or have I missed something ?

I think there are a couple things to do before fighting the Bonca's.... but I guess if you got down there at all, you already did them.
Basically there is no trick. Just punch-and-run. It's pretty tough, but I sucked at Dink and still can get through it without much trouble. The payoff is that at the end of the dungeon is a save machine, and you'll get to go outside where there are tons of hearts. Basically just be careful and punch-and-run.
Oh yeah, there is one trick. You need to buy a meal from the goblin cook which can be used to heal you. You can get a SECOND meal as well, by asking Ash for his.

Yeah, I remember now... fight the boncas as best you can... it's important to not take much damage (if any). When you are low, use the first meal to heal, then immediately leave the dungeon, talk to Ash, and get his meal from him. Then go back and fight more boncas, and wait to use the 2nd meal until you're low again. That's how you do it. :)

Well if you want to get more health download the ultimate cheat i use it on real hard D-MODS so dont depend on it some d-mods like elemental peace are fixed where it will crash your game if you add attck or other points or even health

Using cheats in D-Mods like mine totally ruin the D-Mod, because the goal is usually to get money or EXP so you can get to the end. How bout just make a cheat that sets you at the end? That's basically what you'd be doing.
Anyway, EP has cheat protection. The "ultimate cheat" won't work with it. It might with Rozarus, but as I explained there *IS* a fairly easy way to get thorugh, you don't need a cheat.

Ok first off cheaters SUCK. neway to do this there's one detail you forgot you have to have the money from killing ONE Bonca in order to get the meals so here's the deal when you start go down the stairs, kill a bonca (hard task, i know) then go upstairs talk to the old woman in the back room run out the options til she wants the pepper go upstairs and loot the money then go on upstairs again get the pepper (behind one of bookshelves, you have to go inbetween the too closely placed horizontal ones) then go back downstairs to find she doesnt need the pepper( OH WELL IT COMES IN HANDY LATER) then you have enough cash to buy the too meals THEN you can leave through the front door and get the gold hearts before you proceed back down to kill all those stupid boncas.
