i'm just starting the game..i can't get any further than windsmere..what do i do now??? how do i move the rocks or fix the bridge???

ok, you have to do two quests... first go in the abandoned mine and take care of that after you do that quest you have to save nadine's girl which you go through the gate where's there's two fire torches by the castle... to get through the barrier you have to read the scroll you earn in the abandoned mine quest...
