![]() ![]() ![]() How can I put a wav file on the intro of my DMOD? (I know nothing about c) |

![]() ![]() ![]() You should be able to -- but MIDI's are better... Look for the sound faq at dinknet.virtualave.net . |

![]() ![]() ![]() What I want to do I can't find on the FAQs. How can I put a wav file to play like redink just did in Lost in Dink? His file sources aren't available in that DMOD... |

![]() ![]() ![]() If you know nothing about c (dink c actually) you won't be able to make an intro.. Anyway, use the playsound command |

![]() ![]() ![]() I got it! I used Playsound (50,11500,0,0,0); 11500 is the sample rate. With 22500 the wav just got too fast. But I still have a problem: my wav file is not played until the end, it suddenly stops. what do that three zeros mean? How can I fix this problem? (I want my wav file to be played completely) |

![]() ![]() ![]() That is a Dink Engine Bug. Dink looks for the copyright for the wave file and if you are using your own sounds or changing MP3's then it does not have the copyright on it and Dink will only play 1/4 of it. All you have to do is goto ~~NeonWaters~~ |

![]() ![]() ![]() Just reviewing: With .wav files we use the line loadsound ("Silence.wav",34); this line is used to "say" your sound is there. after, we use in order to play the file. Now, I think this post should be added to Dink's FAQs. Thanx for you guys. Your help was very worthy for me. |
