whenever i start the game it says cannot find the tilescreen and when I make the dink folder (because it says connot find dir dink) it won't let me in the editor

what you can do is to make a find:files or folders search and click browse find your dink folder and search for .dir files and DinkEdit.

That dink edit thing.....
You uninstall every object except the savegames though, and then reinstall it.
