I just started playing this game and am only on level 2. I have yet to show that I have received any coins. When do the coins start to register and how do I get any. I get a little gold number whenever I kill a monster but there is nothing to indicate that I have any coins.

You don't get that much gold until you pass the bridge to the west of Stonebrook. You get gold by killing monsters, which sometimes leave gold piles behind.

The wizard gives you 200 I believe.

the little gold number is the expeiriance you get from that guy, and the wizard in the forest leaves you 200 gold when you complete his challange, and you can see how much expeiriance you have and how much to the next level next to your gold bar.
