OK, I'll answer myself in case someone else comes with the question.
Between the castle and the houses there is a tree. Instead of beating the tree, as I did, TALK to it. The tree will ask for water. There is a well, do you remember it Sherlock?
By the way, you can also talk to the rock that's blocking the access to a barrel. Beat it...
