I am having trouble figuring out the exact commands of the Create_sprite. The first two variables used are x and y coordinates and the last two is the seq and frame but the middle number I just can't seem to get. Any ideas? |

The middle command is the brain of the sprite. If you want it to be a person walking around (though you need to give it speed to do this too), you would set it to 9 (diagnol) 10 (up-down-left-right) or 16 (smart person). If you are having trouble with any other commands, you might want to check out the Dink C Help File. It includes Mike Snyder's FAQ, as well as a description of nearly every command in Dink (it is missing one or two though). You can get it at the Author's section of the Downloads section at the Dink Network. http://dink.telefragged.com |

Wow!! Your site says some nice things about Dink Front End. I didn't realize it became such a hit. And the help file too. It took me a long time to put it together, glad everyone likes it. A suggestion, put all the 'must have' files for authors all in one spot. Like the FAQ and SkeletonB are in different pages. Great site though. Its been awhile since I visited it. I never did release my Dmod, but I doubt anyone noticed. :) |

The Dink Network is actually being maintained by Redink1 and me (with news posts from other dinkers) but thanks for the compliments anyway :) I've been thinking about something like that too, we should it some day (soon) And you can still release the d-mod now, a lot of people are making d-mods again now-a-days.. |

I posted this in another message. Look at dinkc.txt for an explanation of create_sprite() and sp_script. Here's an example: &junkv5 = create_sprite(&save_x, &save_y, 0, 501, 5); Good luck! |
