&Story? I don't think that's a function. I think that was just a variable... a counter Seth used to tell where in the story you were... for instance &Story=1 might mean Dink just began. &Story=2 might mean Dink has rescued the Duck. &Story=3 might mean that Dink has left the village. That way, different parts of the game can check &Story to find out whether or not to let Dink do certain things. It's a variable, just like any other variable. I usually made my own and deleted &Story.

Well, I guess that's what I meant to say. Anyway, I used the &story = 15, and it won't work.

You set &story = 15; and you look and it's NOT equal to 15? Do this. Set it to 15 then have Dink say something so that you know it work (to help debug). Or have something he punches that says "Story is set to" &Story (or whatever) so you know.

Yeah, that's fun! You can run around punching things and they say, "I'm talking in color 3!" or "You're equipped with weapon 1!" It's useful too!
